Saugerties – William A. Quinlan died Thursday March 12, 2015 at Tenbroeck Commons Nursing Home. He was 96 years old.
Born September 27, 1915 in Schenectady , NY, he was the son of William and Alice Hoffman Quinlan. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Edith in 2001.
After more than 35 years of service he retired from Trailways as Vice President of Operations. During WW II he served in the US Army.
Survivors include his son John Quinlan of Saugerties; his daughters Barbara Peek of Clifton Park and Jean Blomer of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Debra Rauschendorfer, Sean Quinlan, Mike Quinlan, John Peek, Lori Peek, Kathy Blomer, Brian Blomer, and Tom Blomer; and by his great-grandchildreen, Stefan and Sondra Rauschendorfer, Jack , Julia, James and Sara Quinlan.
