OBITUARY Saugerties – William H. Daugherty, Jr., a former Saugerties resident, died Monday, July 5, 2010 in Nashville, TN. He was 49 years old. Born April 14, 1961 in Rome Italy, he was the son of Rose and William Mauceri Daugherty, Sr. On May 19, 1990 he married the former Laura Lamb. He was employed as a Prescription Director for CIGNA in Franklin Tennessee. He took great pleasure in his family time and was known to have a great sense of humor. An avid reader of history he particularly enjoyed biographies of prominent persons. He also had a fondness for chess. Survivors include his wife, Laura of Antioch, TN and his daughter, Isabelle Rose also at home; his mother, Rose Daugherty of Saugerties, NY; and two aunts, Lucy Bruno and Josephine Monteleone. Many cousins also survive. A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Monday, July 12, 2010 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. John the Evangelist Parish Center in Centerville, where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow immediately in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Route 212, Saugerties. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
