Saugerties, NY - Vivian F. Hancock, 69 passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born in Kingston, NY, the daughter of William and Helen (Buytkus) Robinson. Vivian was a foster parent for several babies and infants, while being a stay at home mother in the late 1960's and early 1970's. For 21 years, Vivian worked for WHEDA, Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority until her retirement in January of 2011. In her spare time, Vivian loved reading mystery books, watching British television shows, listening to Willie Nelson and traveling. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and family. Vivian is survived by her four children; Marie (Michael) Puckett of Otisco, IN, Joel Van Wezemaal of Palm Harbor, FL, Andrea Van Wezemaal Robinson of Atlanta, GA and Kyle (Michelle) Mattox of Madison, three grandchildren; Japeth Nelson, Cecilia and Hayden Mattox and a great granddaughter; Madeline Nelson. She is also survived by other family and friends. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights in Saugerties, NY.
