Saugerties – Timothy Buono died unexpectedly Monday, July 4, 2016 at home. He was 49 years old.

Born January 11, 1967 in Kingston, NY, he was the son of John and Mary Zelaska Buono. A former New York State Thruway Authority employee, Tim also served in the US Navy from 1985 until 1989.

Survivors include four brothers, John, Paul and Daniel all of Saugerties and James of New Baltimore; a niece Rebacca; a nephew James; and several aunts and uncles.

A funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Friday, July 8, 2016 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. and then proceed to St. Mary of the Snow Church where a 10:00 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
