OBITUARY Saugerties – Theresa A Ross-Mauro died Friday, March 14, 2014 at Kingston Hospital. She was 68 years old. Born November 4, 1945 in Long Island, she was the daughter of Robert and Margaret McManus Ross. She married Rudy Mauro, Jr July 2, 1983. A graduated of SUNY New Paltz, she began teaching in the Kingston School System in 1967. She taught Kindergarten through Sixth grade in Tilson, Zena and J. Watson Bailey until she retired in 2002. Theresa enjoyed golf, bowling, reading and traveling but most of all shopping for clothing and jewelry. In addition to her husband of 31 years, survivors include her step-daughter Erika Nagy of Saugerties; two grandchildren Daren and Morgan Nagy; and her sister, Judith Ross of Florida. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Margaret Ross of Rockville Center Theresa will be missed by her family and many friends. Services will be private and under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
