Obituary
Glasco – Theresa D. "Dolly" Mauro died Sunday November 8, 2015, at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Broadway Campus in Kingston. She was 87 years old.

Born October 7, 1928 in Glasco, she was the daughter of Michael and Theresa DeCicco Misasi. On September 10, 1950, she married Salvatore Mauro, Jr. He pre-deceased her on June 16, 2014.

Theresa retired after 28 years as a cafeteria monitor at Saugerties High School. She had also worked as a Dispatcher for Hudson Valley Airporter, as well as a seamstress in local dress factories immediately after graduating from Saugerties High in 1946. A selfless and caring mother and friend to all, she was a woman of great faith. She was a member of St. Joseph's Altar Rosary Society, the Glasco Fire Company Ladies Auxilary and the Glasco Gun Club Ladies Auxilary. She was also an avid bingo player!

Survivors include her four children, Pamela Frost and her husband Keith of Santa Maria CA, Marilyn Freeburg and her husband Alan of Saugerties, David M. Mauro and his wife Joan of Glasco, and Salvatore Mauro III of Santa Barbara, CA; five grandchildren Jefferson (Laura Sperry) and Julian Frost, Christopher Freeburg and his wife Kathleen, Thomas Mauro and his wife Katie, and Sarah Mauro; four great-grandchildren Turner, Thomas, Greta and Arianna; and seven siblings Rose Risimini, Lillian Knapp, Michael Missasi, Frank Misasi, Geri Crowder, Jeanne Crowley and Janet Shanley.

In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by five siblings, Mary Sottile, Joseph Misasi, Josephine Palumbo, Julia Contini, and Caroline Misasi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday, November 14, 2015 at St. Joseph's Church in Glasco. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Friday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
