Stanley T. Ricketson's Obituary
West Camp – Stanley T. Ricketson died Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, Broadway Campus. He was 88 years old.
Born March 31, 1934 in Catskill, he was the son of the late Edwin "Gus" Ricketson and the later Mary Koturo. He married the former Charlotte Thorne in 1959 who pre-deceased him in 2014. He served in the US Army 82 Airborne Division and was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow Church.
In 1994 he retired from Verizon and was a member of Malden West Camp Fire Company for more than 50 years. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved riding his four-wheeler. For many years he played dart ball, softball and volleyball in the SAA.
Survivors include his daughters, Beth Ann Kordich and her husband Tony of Saugerties and Debbie Ricketson of West Camp; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and by many dear friends. In addition to his wife, he was pre-deceased by his sister, Dolores Vasilow.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary of the Snow Church and interment followed in Blue Mountain Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc. Please offer your condolences for Stanley and his family online at www.BuonoFuneralService.com .
