Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday October 14 from 4pm-8pm.

A procession will form at the funeral home on Thursday October 15 at 9:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Glasco at 10am. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights.

Glasco – Rosemarie B. Sasso died Friday, October 9, 2026 at Tenbroeck Commons in Lake Katrine. She was 97 years old.

Born April 14, 1929 in Glasco, she was the daughter of the late Frank Bonavita and Rosina DeCicco Bonavita. On February 4, 1949, she married Angelo Sasso, who pre-deceased her on April 10, 2016.

Rosemarie served as the Post Master of Malden-on-Hudson for many years until her retirement from the United States Postal Service. A member of the Altar-Rosary Society and long-time member of St. Joseph’s Church in Glasco. She enjoyed crocheting, but her real passion was spending time with her family and being “Nonni” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Maureen Lugo, Frank Sasso and his wife Rosemarie, and Joseph Sasso and his wife Maria; her grandchildren Shane Lugo, Andrea Simmons, Anthony Sasso, Nicole Sasso, Ashley Sasso, Michael Sasso, and Angela Sasso; and her great-grandchildren Shay, Luca Jackson, Maverick, Alessio, Dominic, Saydre, Mariyah, Tiana, Jase, Natalia, Olivia, Melania and Angelo. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by her son-in-law Noel Lugo, and two grandsons Justin Lugo and Joseph Sasso.
