OBITUARY Saugerties - Robert M. Salerno died Saturday, February 11, 2012 with his family by his side; he was 64years old. Born February 6, 1948 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Victor and Santa Salerno. Robert attended Devitt Millitary Academy in NJ and went on to Brooklyn Tech School in NY He was the proprietor of Magic Motors in Kingston and previously served as General Manager of Anthony Sicari Dress Factory in Kingston and as a Crane operator/long shore man on the New Jersey docks. Robert served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. An avid automobile enthusiast, he had penchant for mechanics and could fix anything he put his hands on In addition to his wife Maryann he survived by three daughters, Olivia, Retta and Michelle Salerno all in Saugerties; two grandchildren, Kennedy and Bailey Overbaugh; his brother, Anthony Sicari of Gardiner, NY and his sister, Tonia Cara of Cairo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. and then proceed to St. John the Evangelist Parish Center in Centerville, where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Fr. William Woodruff, of St. John the Evangelist will officiate. Interment will follow immediately in Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
