In 1961, he married the love of his life, Carol Ann Baratta, and together they had five beautiful children: Jennifer (Tony), Patrick, Michelle, Kevin (Joanne), and Antha (Joby). He was a beloved Pop Pop to his grandchildren: Zoe, Calla, Matthew, Karlie, Cassidy, Jake, Sydney, and Joseph, as well as an adored brother, cousin, and "Uncle Bobby" to countless nieces, nephews and godchildren. He is survived by his wife Carol, his five children, his brothers: Eddie, Charlie (Joyce) and Howard (Kathy) and his sister Edna. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Edward; his sisters: Margaret, Marion, Helen, Irene, Gertrude, and Antha; his brother, Freddie; and his granddaughter, Cassidy.
Bob spent over 45 years as a leader in the grocery industry and treated everyone—employee, stranger, or customer—like family. After retiring, Bob spent many years traveling the world with Carol, but always found the time to be a part of his family's big moments. He was an excellent storyteller and found immense joy in always making his loved ones laugh. He was loved by everyone who met him, and left an unparalleled legacy of love, loyalty, and kindness that will never be forgotten.
