OBITUARY Mount Marion – Richard A. O'Leary died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. He was 84 years old. Born November 8, 1928 in Queens, NY, he was the son of Daniel and Ellen O'Connell O'Leary. On April 9, 1950 he married the former Joan M. Stonebridge. Dick retired from IBM in 1990 after 35 years or service. A veteran of the US Navy, he was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Knights of Columbus. He was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Centerville where he was a Eucharistic Minister and a lector. He was also a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Joanne Brinkley of Alameda, CA and Lauren Gold of Bellevue, WA; a son, Brian O'Leary of San Francisco, CA; four grandchildren, Heather, Melissa, and Ryan O'Leary and Ari Gold; and by one sister, Eileen Brenkert of Florida. He was pre-deceased by his son Gary O'Leary in in 1996 and his grandson Taylor Brinkley in 2000. A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Monday, September 9, 2013 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. John the Evangelist Parish Center in Centerville, where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Father William Woodruff, Pastor of St. John the Evangelist will officiate. Interment will follow immediately in Mount Marion Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
