OBITUARY Palenville ? Richard V. Justy died suddenly Saturday, September 8, 2012 at home. He was 55 years old. Born August 19, 1957 in New York City, he was the son of Carolyn A. Ammiratti Justy and the late John R. Justy. He worked for many years as a pressman for KTB, Treasure Chest and then Vertis in Saugerties. A graduate of Saugerties High School, Rich loved the outdoors and the serene setting of his mountain home. History, particularly the Civil War and the local area history of the Catskill Mountain House and the Otis Railway that operated there were among his greatest interests. Known as a wonderful cook and football enthusiast he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Joshua Meyers of Jacksonville, Fl and Richard Justy of Saugerties; three sisters, Linda Henderson of Cairo, NY, Camille Smith of Selden, NY, and Nicola Daley of Glasco, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 14, 2012 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Thursday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
