OBITUARY Saugerties – Peter J. Fondino died Sunday, November 02, 2014 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. Peter was the son of the late Stephen and Marion DePasquale Fondino formerly of Glasco, NY. He was pre-deceased by his wife Evelyn in July of 1994. Survivors include his brothers Damian Fondino of Saugerties and Raymond Fondino of Lowell, MA; his sisters Marion DeJoy and her husband John of Kingston and Laura Wallach, Stella Costello, and Jean Fondino all of Saugerties. Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his wife and parents he was pre-deceased by hisr brothers, Benjamin and Cosmo Fondino and his sisters, Susan and Carolyn Fondino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Tuesday November 4, 2014 at St. Joseph's RC Church in Glasco. Fr. John Kearney, Pastor of St. Joseph's will officiate. Interment with full military honors will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Monday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made in his memory to St. Joseph's Church in Glasco.
