Patricia Ann Myer, of Blue Mountain in Saugerties, NY, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on July 16, 1937, in Acra, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Theresa Rahe, Patricia lived a life grounded in love, devotion, and quiet strength.
Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She shared 65 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Roger Myer, building a life centered around family, faith, and love. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She also performed and sewed costumes for the Der Germania Kaatskill Schuhplattler Verein in the Cairo area. Patricia and her family spent many years traveling the states and through Europe and even completed all 50 states. She also played a role in the Blue Mountain Tree Farm growing and selling Christmas trees for over 40 years. In addition to her role at home, Patricia held several professional positions throughout her life including American Thermostat, IBM, Lazette Express, and secretary for legal practices in town.
Patricia's life was defined by her steadfast commitment to her family and her remarkable ability to bring warmth and care to everyone she encountered. She took pride in her independence and that she could do almost anything herself and if she did not know how, she was going to learn. She approached each day with kindness and grace, touching hearts with her generosity, humor, and gentle spirit.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Roger, and her sons, Gary and Darren. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren (Noelle, Taylor, Kailey and Zachary) and her pug Chipper, all of whom brought her great joy.
