Saugerties – Patricia V. Buono left this world Wednesday August 10, 2016 at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley in Kingston. She was 88 years old.

Born January 16, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Francis and Irene Blanchard O'Rourke. On Oct. 31, 1948 she married Vincent Buono, who predeceased her on June 11, 2008.

Pat was part of the Foster Grandparent Program at Riccardi Elementary School for 26 years.
She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow Church.

Survivors include her five children, Colleen Greco and her husband Richard Sr., of Saugerties, Faith Fury and her husband Randal of Glasco, Marie Maimone and her husband Salvatore of Spring Hill TN, Vincent Buono and his wife Ruth of Saugerties, and her son Francis Buono of Glasco; 16 Grandchildren, Richard Jr., Melissa, Jason, Ryan, Erin, Lauren, Melanie, Michael, Nichole, Christopher, Jessica, Cory, Gabriel, Damien, Matthew and Vincent; and 17 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews along with her dog, Honey Boy, also survive. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by four sisters and her brother.

A Procession will form 9:15 am Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, and then proceed to St. Mary of the Snow Church where a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Friday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
