Saugerties – Maureen "Tween" Dwyer Every died Friday December 16, 2022 surrounded by her family at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. She was 69 years old.

Born December 7, 1953 in Kingston, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis Dwyer and the late Helen Hogan Dwyer. On August 15, 1981, she married her husband, Richard Every.

A graduate of John A. Coleman High School and Ulster County Community College, Maureen retired a Special Fraud Investigator from the Ulster County Department of Social Services where she worked for more than 30 years. She was dedicated to her family and loved spending time with them. Her infectious laugh brought joy to everyone around her. Baking (OH those Christmas cookies!) and gardening with her husband were two of her passions. Another was crafting and she operated Hillside Handmades for many years.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her sister Joan Van Loan; her brother, Thomas Dwyer (Karen); her nieces and nephews, Dan Van Loan (Vicki), Kellie Buono (Patrick), Peter Van Loan (Kelly), Joanne Flood (Kevin), Jennifer Marcus (Lee), Kim Walsh (Dan), Thomas Dwyer (Ashley), and Richard Williams (Sonia); and her fur babies, Noodle and Bailey. Other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive her. She was pre-deceased by her loving sister Mary Williams and her niece Cassidy Flood.
