OBITUARY Saugerties – Mary Snyder died at her home on Monday January 6, 2013 after a long illness. She was born in Glasco to John and Angelina Nero Riccio. On November 25, 1967 she married Gerald Snyder who died May 24, 1996. Mary worked as a seamstress in various local textile manufacturers until joining IBM in Kingston assembling typewriters. She later assembled computers in both Kingston and Poughkeepsie before her retirement. She was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. A Parishioner of St. Joseph's in Glasco, she was also a charter member and 50 year member of the Saugerties Columbiettes. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include three brothers, Nicholas Riccio and his wife Rosalyn, Joseph Riccio and his wife Frances all of Glasco, and Anthony Riccio and his wife Tina of Cohoes; a dear friend Sally Hoy of Saugerties and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by her step daughter, Jacqueline Snyder; and her sister Emily Spada and her husband Louis. A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Friday, January 10, 2014 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. and then proceed to St. Joseph Church in Glasco, where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow immediately in St, Mary of the Snow Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
