Lake Katrine – Mary Ellen Harrington died suddenly March 25, 2017 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. She was 51 years old.

Born November 9, 1965 in Catskill, NY she was the daughter of Patrick Harrington and the late Anna VanWagner Harrington. She grew up in Saugerties and was a graduate of Saugerties High School. Mary worked as a resident specialist for UARC for more than 25 years before her retirement. She was active with the members of the Church of Latter Day Saints in Lake Katrine.

Survivors include her father, Pat; her sisters, Laurie A. Wesley of Ruby and Tonia Brown of Monticello; her brother Patrick of Kingston; a niece Kristen Brown; and three grand nieces and a grand nephew. Several cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 8:00 pm Friday evening March 31, 2017 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Saugerties. Friends may call Friday from 2:00 pm until 4 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. Cremation will follow and interment in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery will be private.
