OBITUARY Saugerties, NY – Mary Mullaney, formerly of Main Street, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston. She was 101 years old. Born October 5, 1910, she was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Quinn Ryan. Her husband, the late John Mullaney died on June 3, 1989. She was retired from the City of Yonkers, where she worked as a Secretary. She resided in Parkchester, NY for more than 65 years and then Croton-on-Hudson prior to relocating to Saugerties in 2007. Survivors include her sister, Catherine McManus; and locally her nephew James McManus and his wife Maryellen Kramer McManus of Kingston, her nieces Theresa Eddy of Redhook and Mary Patricia Whelan of Greenwich, CT; as well as her god daughter, Colleen Ryan of also of Greenwich CT. Several other nieces and nephews survive across the country. Funeral Services were private and she was laid to rest with her husband, John, in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. Arrangements were under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY.
