Obituary
Lake Katrine – Mark David Amrod, beloved son of the late Vincent Amrod and the late Loretta Amrod, died suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. He was 57 years old.

A graduate of Coleman High School in Kingston, he also attended Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. Mark enjoyed history and was an avid reader as well as a collector of sports cards. He shared with father a passion for playing tennis and a love of movies with his brother. From a young age he enjoyed cooking and at one time considered becoming a professional chef. Instead he shared his cooking skills whenever he visited family and friends.

Survivors include five siblings, Sr. Claudia Amrod of Latham, NY, Loretta Beaumont and her husband Tom of Bradenton, FL, Jai Amrod of Columbia, MO, Barbara Petrus and her husband Paul of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and Karen Ingle and her husband Nick of Glenmont, NY; two nieces, Amanda Parsons and her husband Ronnie of Port Aransa, TX, and Jessica Petrus and her husband Josh of Fort Leavenworth, KS; Four nephews Paul A. Petrus of Orlando, FL, Nick Petrus and his wife Andrea of Alpharetta, GA, Ryan Ingle of Glenmont, NY and Cameron Ingle also of Glenmont; and by six grand nieces and grand nephews, Haley Parsons, Riley Parsons, Jackson Petrus, Molly Petrus, Calvin Petrus, and Luke Petrus, .

There will be a celebration of Mark's life at Buono Funeral Service, Inc in Saugerties on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery in Barclay Heights.
