OBITUARY Saugeties, NY – Margaret Kordich died peacefully Monday, July 22, 2014 after a long illness. She was 75 years old. Born June 25, 1939 in Malden, she was the daughter of George and Bessie Morgan. On December 16, 1961 she married Anthony J. Kordich who died December 4, 2008. She was a devoted bowler and a member of the Bowler's Hall of Fame in both Saugerties and Kingston. She also served as secretary of the Saugerties Bowlers Association for many years and wrote a bowling column for the Post Star for over 30 years. An avid reader and Mets fan she particularly enjoyed her vacations to Wildwood and Atlantic City Survivors include two sons, Anthony Kordich, Jr. and his wife Beth and Matthew Kordich and his wife Tina; three grandchildren, Madison, Colin and Ethan all of Saugerties; five siblings, Joan Martin, Gail Hackett, Bill Morgan, John Morgan and Pam Campbell; several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was pre-deceased by two brothers, Richard and Tom Morgan. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 25, 2014 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Interment will follow in Blue Mt. Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
