SAUGERTIES- Lucille Misasi died Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Golden Hill Health Nursing and rehabilitation Center in Kingston. She was 96 years old.
Born March 28, 1921 in Pamlico, N.C. she was the daughter of Tommy and Ethel Sadler McKinney. On October 21, 1961, she married her husband, Frank Misasi, who predeceased her on January. 9, 2015.
Lucille worked for many years as a waitress at Howard Johnson Restaurant in Kingston and previously as a school crossing guard in Norfolk, Va. She was a member of the Glasco Fire company Auxiliary and the Flatbush Reformed Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Guy Hopkins of Chesapeake, Va., and William Hopkins and his wife Lynn of Centerville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Diana Hopkins and Will Hopkins; her great-granddaughter, Jillian; her sister, Donna Dunn of Crewe, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her sister Lola.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Flatbush Reformed Church. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights, Saugerties. Arrangements are under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
