Saugerties, NY – Lorraine Mills died Friday, March 20, 2015 at5 HealthAlliance in Kingston. She was 82 years old.

Born April 11, 1932 in Glasco, NY she was the daughter of Lawrence and Agnes Long Machione. On May 6, 1967 she married Melvin Mills.

She was employed for many years as a Quality Control Inspector at IBM in Kingston. She had previously worked as a seamstress in various dress factories around Saugerties. A parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Anne Fisher and her husband Michael and Melvin Mills, Jr. and his wife Iwona and a granddaughter Gabriela all of Saugerties ; four sisters, Agnes Cashara of Virginia, Sarah Kocsis of Port Ewen, Angela Yerry of Lake Katrine and Theresa Minnick of Poughkeepsie; and by several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Anna and Dolores Machione; and three brothers John, Lawrence and Joseph Machione.

A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Monday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Altar Rosary Society of St. Mary of the Snow.
