Saugerties – Loretta A. Moore died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, Mary's Avenue. She was 84 years old.

Born August 20, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold Sandin and the late Marie Koenig Sandin. On April 4, 1967, she married Walter Moore who pre-deceased her on May 23, 2009.

Loretta was a member of the Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley and for many years served as a real estate agent for several local real estate brokers.

Survivors include, her son Mark and his wife Judy of Marlboro, NY; her daughter Janice Walshe of Kingston; her grandchildren Ryan, Deanna and Nick Moore, and Alysia and Derek Walshe; her great-grandchildren Muriel, Marina and Scarlett; and her sister, Pauline Loreng. In addition to her husband, she was also pre-deceased by her son Walter Moore Jr and brother Harold Sandin. Loretta is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Cremation Services were private and under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc. in Saugerties, NY. A memorial service will be held at Calvery Chapel of the Hudson Valley, 36 Fireman's way, Poughkeepsie NY on Saturday September 28th at 11:00 AM.
