Leona D. Schiskey's Obituary
Saugerties – Leona D. Schiskey died Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingston, NY. She was 73 years old.
Born July 2, 1942 in New York City, she was the daughter of John and Clara Spector Davis. On July 29, 1983 she married Donald Schiskey.
She retired from Ulster County Department of Motor Vehicles after 27 years of service.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her three children, Carol Quesnell of Saugerties, Frank Ellsworth of Virgina Beach, and Ann Robinson of Saugerties; four step children, Debra Weaver, Millie Schiskey, Theresa DePuy and Willet Hahm; a sister Joan Robichaud of Stillwater, NY; and a brother Michael Davis of White Plains, NY. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street, Saugerties. Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family.
Inurnment will take place in Stillwater, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY.
