Obituary Saugerties – Leona Osborn Wynkoop died Monday, March 29, 2010 at Kingston Hospital. She was 71 years old. She was born April 25, 1938 in Stamford, NY, the daughter of Leon and Elda Van Deusen Smith. She was pre-deceased by her first and second husbands, Benjamin Osborn and Edward Wynkoop. She was a member of Harpersfield United Methodist Church; also a member of the Saugerties Bowlers Club and an avid gardener. Survivors include her son, Jeffery Osborn and his wife Lisa of Saugerties; her daughter-in-law Patricia Osborn of Kingston; two sisters, Rita Vroman and Betty Ogborn. Seven grandchildren also survive, Emma, Abbey, Benjamin, and Jonathan Osborn and Kyle, Timothy, and Matthew Heckler; one great-grandson, Tanner Heckler; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husbands was pre-deceased by her son, Rickie Osborn. Funeral services are private.
