Saugerties – June Mary De Angelis died after a battle with ALS on Tuesday, January 03, 2023 surrounded by her family at home. She was 70 years old.

Born March 10, 1952 in Kingston, NY, she was the daughter of the late Donald DeGroat and the late Betty Decker. On June 9, 1968, she married her husband, Edward De Angelis. She retired from Hudson Valley Surgical where she worked as the surgical coordinator for
Dr. Venkat.

She was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her five sons, Edward Jr. (Jennifer) of Saugerties, Michael (Rebecca) of Saugerties, Christopher and wife Starr of Locust, NJ; Matthew and wife Kerri of Kingston, and Jeffrey (Paula) of Fort Mill, SC; her nephew Gilbert Hartrum and wife Sara, and niece Laura Lee; her additional Daughters-in-Law Krista Scarselli, Lisa Bolden, and Jessica DeAngelis; her grandchildren Isabella (Sam), Alexander, Ava, Daniel, Max, Mia, Lilliana, Allie, and Elle; and her siblings Samuel DeGroat, Donna Cline, Elaine DeGroat, and Alfred Decker, Jr. She was predeceased by her sister, Michaela Bonse.

A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. in Saugerties and then proceed to St. Mary of the Snow where a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow immediately at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery Mausoleum in Kingston. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
