Saugerties – Julia Babcock died Saturday October 29, 2016 at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, Broadway in Kingston. She was 91 years old.
Born March 24, 1925 in County Cork, Ireland, she was the daughter of Michael and Abbey Healey Lucey. She married her husband, James J. Babcock in 1966. She retired in 1988 as a Nurse at Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan.
A funeral procession will form 9:45 AM Wednesday, November 2 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. Mary of the Snow Church where a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Tuesday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
