Saugerties – Josephine Slater died Thursday August 18, 2016 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingston. She was 86 years old.
Born December 14, 1929 in Norwich, NY, she was pre-deceased by her husband Linn C. Slater on September 2, 2002.
She retired from Rondout Valley Central Schools where she worked as an aid.
Survivors include her son Linn Slater of Ellenville, NY; her grandchildren Elizabeth of Highland and Joshua of Long Island; and her dear friend Noreen Mower of Saugerties.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Rosendale Plains Cemetery, Tillson, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY.
