OBITUARY Lake City, FL – John J. Rinaldo, formerly of Kingston, died Thursday July 25, 2013 in Lake City Fla. Born May 25, 1918 in Glasco, NY, he was the son of Joseph and Rita Lyons Rinaldo. He married the former Retha Kirkpatrick on October 11 1941. John was a retired self-employed businessman. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Together with his wife he enjoyed traveling and camping. In addition to his wife Retha, survivors include his son John Rinaldo and his wife Linda of Saugerties; his daughter, Karen VanGieson and her husband Douglas of Lake City, FL; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; three sisters, Irma Stowell of Port Ewen, Ethel Paulucci and Anita Fuoco both of Kingston; and three sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Rinaldo, Frances Rinaldo, and Helen Rinaldo. He was pre-deceased by his son Joseph Rinaldo on May 29, 2001; and by his sister Marie Dispensa and three brothers Bernard, Albert and Leroy Rinaldo. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2013 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
