John C. Lewis born April 24,1948 to the late John N. Lewis and Mildred (Burgemeister)Lewis of Saugerties died April 17,2025 at Golden HillNursing Home in Kingston N.Y. He was a 1966 graduate of Saugerties high school and graduated with an associates degree from UCCC and Bachelor of Science from SUNY New Paltz. After completing his education he worked for over40 years as a toll collector on the NYS Thruway in Saugerties. He is survived by 1 st cousins Nancy (Davis) Schaff of Ithaca,N.Y. ,Pamela (Davis) Suenram of Harper ,Texas and Dorothy (Sengebush)Johnson of Canton,Georgia,as well as their children and grandchildren. Private services where held at Mt Marion cemetery on April 23,2025
