Obituary
Saugerties – Jeffrey Schiller died Wednesday January 21, 2016 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. He was 70 years old.

Born April 14, 1945 in Brooklyn he was the son of Joseph and Gussie Linn Schiller. On December 19, 1970 he married the former Theresa Yannotta.

For many years he was employed as a ship welder at Caddell Dry Dock in Staten Island. Most recently he worked as a welder at Williams Fencing in Port Ewen. Jeff was a local artist who created welded metal sculpture. His work has been displayed locally and in New York City. He has been featured on the local artist tour for several years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son David and his wife Eva in Pearl River, NY; his brother, Norman Schiller and his wife Chantal in Whitestone, NY; his sister Florence Silverman also in Whitestone; his sister-in-law Marie Mabile of Woodstock, NY; and his dog Buster. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Interment will follow in Blue Mountain Cemetery in Saugerties. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
