OBITUARY Saugerties ? Jeanne Marie Schuman, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at home. She was 80 years young. The daughter of George and Mildred Anderson Holmes, she was born September 18, 1932 in Kingston. Her husband, Richard Schuman passed away on September 10, 1975. Jeanne worked all of her life in the Family Business, Holmes Memorials, originally with her parents and more recently with her son. She did all the various tasks including office work and setting monuments. An avid gardener, she enjoyed tending her flowers and was also a lover of animals. Survivors include her daughter, Debra McCornock and her husband, Craig of Willow, NY and her son Robert Schuman and his wife, Cheryl of Saugerties; her niece, Susan Simms of Georgia; and her cousin Bruce Holmes of Palenville. She is also survived by her ?Grandpets?, Sierra and Tiara. A Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Officiating at the Funeral will be Jeanne?s Cousin, Pastor Bruce Holmes and his wife Carole. Friends may call Sunday 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
