Saugerties, NY - James "Jim" Gerard Biegner, a former Catskill resident, passed away January 12, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones after a long fight with cancer.
Jim is survived by his longtime companion Gail Jones of Saugerties, his children Maureen Biegner of Palenville and James Biegner (Amanda) of Colonie, brother Fred Biegner (Judy) of RI, sister Kathleen Biegner of NYC, nieces AnnMarie Mitchell (Craig) of RI, Joellen Clapsadl (Michael) of PA, CoriLynn Durfee (Steve) of RI, great nieces/nephews Sarah, Myles, Dean, Madison, Danielle, and Jordan.
Jim was a member of the Saugerties Exempt Firemen's Assoc. and Sons of The American Legion, and past member of the Kiskatom Fire Dept. Jim was a quiet man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and a nice cold beer.
