Quarryville, NY - Ian Melville died peacefully on October 10, 2017 at the age of 88. The son of Ross (Scotty) Melville and Margaret Phillips Melville.
Ian is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, the former Kathryn Ross Norton.
Besides his wife, Ian is survived by his sons, Patrick (Joanne), Thomas (Lorraine), Robert (Marylee) and his daughter Sheila all of Saugerties. Eight Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, Sister in Laws Jean Melville, Betty Norton and Madeline Craig a Brother in Law George Norton and several nieces and nephews also survive. Ian was predeceased by his brother Ross.
Cremation was private and under the direction of Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. A Celebration of Ian's Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday October 22, 2017, at the Saugerties Elks Lodge.
