Gerard D. Patterson, born April 13, 1943, son of Alice M. and George B. Patterson, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Kingston Hospital of complications of Myasthenia Gravis. He is survived by his son Matthew, his wife of 30 years, Marjorie and her daughter Kirsten, and his siblings George B, Jr.., Donald F. and Lynn L. Patterson. He lived in Woodstock and Saugerties at the Mill. He practice Sufism and was known as a special and spiritual man. Donations to the Woodstock Meals on Wheels, 16 Tinker St., will be appreciated on his behalf. As he had served as a Naval Corpsman, he is buried at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, N.Y.
