OBITUARY Genevieve Julia Estabrook passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 surrounded by her family in Alexandria, Virginia. She was born in Glasco, New York on April 14, 1923. She lived with her family at the Exchange Hotel, a family business, and graduated from Saugerties High School. Genevieve met her husband, J. Walter, a young civil engineer from Hoosick Falls, New York. They married in 1943,and later moved to Albany, New York where Gen was a long time active member of St. Teresa of Avila parish. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Buono, her brothers Thomas and Anthony, her loving husband Walter, and her son Bishop Joseph W. Estabrook. Genevieve is survived by her son Timothy and his wife Giselle; her daughter Mary Ann and her husband William Tortolano; and her beautiful grandchildren, William, Julianne and Joseph Tortolano, Giselle Marie and Michael Estabrook and his wife Brechtje. She has numerous cousins and family members who reside in the Saugerties area. A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street, Saugerties. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Mary of the Snow Catholic Church, Cedar and Post Streets, Saugerties, with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glemont, New York.
