Saugerties – Gary Howard Reese (AKA BIG DOG) 70 was born in Syracuse and raised in Saugerties. He was a Truck driver prior to his retirement
He was a USMC Vietnam Veteran . He was born on May 2, 1951 in Saugerties, NY. He was the son of Donald Reese and Florence Elaine Carnright Reese. He Left behind his beloved wife Gail Whitehead Reese who he spent 51 years with. He leaves behind his two buddies his tuxedo cats Bandit and Oreo.
3- Daughters Tamme(Ray Krom), Terri (Brian Krom), Tonya ( Jim Collins (AKA LITTLE DOG) He also left behind 6 grandchildren Marina Macdonald, Ashley Macdonald, Savana Krom, Nicholas Krom, Mackenzie Krom, and Shelby Colliins. He is predeceased by his infant son. He died 6 months after being diagnosed with a rare and tortures disease called Neuroendocrine esophageal carcinoma. He didn't give up without a fight till the day he took his last breath. To honor Gary's wishes there will be no calling hours and his funeral will be private.
