OBITUARY INFORMATION Saugerties – Francis J. "Frank" Mignone died Monday, April 19, 2010 at home at the age of 79. He was born March 22, 1931 in Bronxville, NY, the son of Gerard and Susan Rescigno Mignone. Mr. Mignone first came to our area as a Division Manager of Montgomery Wards; he went on to be well-known as an Allstate insurance agent in the Kingston and Saugerties area for 34 years. He was a parishioner and usher at St. Mary of the Snow and a member of Saugerties Knights of Columbus Council #4536 where he served as Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator. An avid golfer, he was active in the K of C Golf League; and for many years bowled and sponsored a team in the Tuesday night Bowling League at Mid-City Lanes in Kingston. He was also a member of the Eastchester Volunteer Fire Department and the Glasco Fire Department/Fire Police. At the K of C and Fire Co. halls he could often be seen preparing and serving banquet dinners and monthly breakfasts. Mr. Mignone was a member of the National Guard activated to service during the Korean War when he served as a dental technician. He was also a member of the American Legion. Survivors include four sons, Francis J. Mignone, Jr. of Billings MT, Gerard M. Mignone of Manhattan, Kevin C. Mignone of Warwarsing, NY, and Thomas P. Mignone of Saugerties, NY; his former wife, Marge M. Mignone; three grandchildren, Jessica Rochelle, Jocelyn Marie and Taylor Michael Mignone; six siblings, Concetta Vigliotti , Gerard A. Mignone, and Lawrence Mignone all of Scarsdale, NY, Rudolph Mignone of West Palm Beach, FL, Joanne Rosamond of Bedford Hills, NY, and Peter Mignone of Dobbs Ferry, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Edward Mignone. A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Friday, April 23, 2010 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. Mary of the Snow where a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Christopher Berean, Pastor of St. Mary of the Snow. Internment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Thursday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc. In lieu of flowers donations to the Frank J.
