Glasco – Florina B. Ferraro, a lifelong resident of Glasco, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Tenbroeck Commons in Lake Katrine.

Born July 18, 1925 in Glasco, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Bruno, Sr. and the late Nancy "Mary" Cafaldo Bruno. On April 24, 1949, she married the late Vincenzo "Butzie" Ferraro. She attended Glasco School and Saugerties High School.

Florina's main interests were cooking and sewing for family. She ran the R&F Dress Company and in later years was employed by Nordic House Designs as floor lady and sample maker.

She was a former member of St. Joseph's Altar Rosary Society, the Glasco Fire Company Auxiliary and Saugerties Senior Citizens Club #1.

Surviving are her son Joseph and his wife Kathryn of Glasco; her beloved grandson James "Jimmy" and his wife Jamie; two great Grandchildren, Mia Isabelle and Luke James: her sister Rose B. Riozzi of Glasco; her nephew Carl Crispino who was always together with her; and many more nephews, nieces and cousins.

In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by three brothers, John, Albert and Antonio Bruno, Jr.; and by one sister Maria "Angie" Crispino.

A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM, Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., and then proceed to St. Joseph's Church in Glasco where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street, Saugerties.
