Flora Vigale, age 87 of Twin Maples Saugerties NY, passed peacefully @ home on Saturday, August 07, 2021. She was born to the late Arthur and Anna Nuzzo on January 07, 1934.
Flora attended Prospect Heights High School, PS 181, Brooklyn, NY and graduated in 1948.
She was employed by the Sunshine Bakery, Brooklyn, NY, the Kingston Knitting Mills, Kingston, NY and later went on to own & operate the Island Nursery/Malden Garden Center, Malden, NY, along with her husband for many years until her retirement.
A loving mother and home maker, Flora was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, especially over the holidays.
In her spare time, she enjoyed roller skating at popular skating rinks, was involved in bowling leagues and an active member of the Malden/West Camp Fireman's Auxiliary for several years. Her other interests included sewing and gardening.
Flora was predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas Vigale, three brothers, James, Angelo,& Pat, and three sisters, Josephine, Jennie & Mary.
Flora is survived by her son Dominic, his wife Amanda, two daughters, Anna and Flora & her husband Joe. Two Grandchildren Isabel & Oliver.

She is also survived by her twin sister Gloria Jichetti & her children Joseph and Diane Jichetti Anna Marie and John Galgano, Carmine and Karyn Jichetti & Carmella Jichetti, grandnieces/nephew, whom she treated as her grandchildren - Devin, Joseph, Samantha, Carolyn, Shane, Isabella & Ava
great grandniece/nephew - Emilia and Joseph.
