OBITUARY Saugerties – Fannie Falk died Sunday March 25, 2012 at Mike Connelly Hospice Center in Clermont, Fla. She was 90 years old. Born June 9, 1921 in Saugerties, she was the daughter of Thomas and Hattie Snyder Vaclavicek. On August 13, 1944 she married her husband of nearly 63 years, Arthur Falk, who died March 17, 2007. Fannie retired from Saugerties Central Schools where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Blue Mt. Reformed Church, the church's Cheerful Workers Group, and a life member of the Centerville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her son Arthur W. Falk of Saugerties; two daughters, Linda Sapunarich and her husband Jerry of Smith's Landing, and Carolyn Zindell and her husband Jeffrey of Davenport, Fla.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was pre-deceased by her daughter Diana Bibza, son-in-law Barry Bibza, daughter-in-law Mildred Falk and her granddaughter, Bonnie Bell. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY. Rev. James Alley, Pastor of Blue Mt. Reformed Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Mt. Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
