OBITUARY Mount Marion ? Edna Wolfe Foley, a devoted mother and grandmother, died Friday, October 28, 2011 with her whole family at her side. She was 69 years old. She was born in Queens , NY on May 3, 1942. She was the daughter of Edna and Joseph Wolfe. She was pre-deceased on October 17, 2010 by her husband Thomas Foley, the love of her life for 52 years, whom she married on March 21, 1959 at St. Joseph?s Church in Queens, NY. Edna worked on the N.Y. State Thruway as a waitress in the Hot Shop. She was a dedicated union representative for all employees. Edna also enjoyed cooking for her family every Sunday. She loved Karaoke and going on vacations with the family. She was a very big fan of Elvis Presley. Edna is survived by her son Thomas Foley, Jr & his wife Nancy of Saugerties; two daughters, Carol Diers-Foley & her partner Brian Brandt of Mt. Marion, and Diane Mendock & her husband Raymond of Mt. Marion; seven grandchildren, Tabitha and Taylor Foley, Tiffany Curci and her husband Dan, Jared and Kristi Diers, Ray and Haily Mendock; three great-grandchildren, Guy Diers, Rylie Curci and Blake Thomas Curci. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Hansen and Jean Pietromonaco; and her brother, Walter Wolfe. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, October 31, 2011 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY. Deacon Henry Smith, of St. Mary of the Snow will officiate. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
