Saugerties – Earl S. France Jr. died Saturday January 20, 2018 at Albany Medical Center. He was 73 years old.

Born March 6, 1944 in Kingston, NY, he was the son of Earl S. France Sr. and Marion F. Terwilliger France.

Earl worked as a machinist for Methods Tooling, as well as Rotron, he also worked in the produce department at Addams and drove a bus for the elderly. During Vietnam he served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the North American Hunter's Club and the Ruby Rod and Gun Club where he enjoyed working on the pig roasts. He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his daughters; Christine Pelletieri and her husband Pete, Kelly McNiff, Robin France Berryanne, Samantha France and his son Kenny France. He is also survived by his sisters, Ada Hartrum, Carol Young, Ruth Grehl, Nancy Davis, Jane Steinbaugh, and Janet France, and brothers, Gary France, James France, and George France Sr.. He is pre-deceased by a brother Randy France.

Funeral services are private and under the direction of Buono Funeral Service Inc., Saugerties, NY. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Lamouree-Hackett Post 72 American Legion, 30 John St., Saugerties, NY.
