Mablevale, AR – Doris Melius, formerly of Saugerties died November 18, 2016 in Mablevale, AR. She was 88 years old.

Born July 4, 1928 in Glasco, she was the daughter of Laura and Angelo Staccio, Sr. She was pre-deceased by her husband Donald Melius in 2007.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Chu and her husband Randy and Ruth Sahene and her husband John; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her brother, Angelo "Sonny" Staccio; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, April 28, 2017 at St. Mary of the Snow Church. Interment will be private. Friends may call Friday 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
