Mount Marion – Donald Fogarty, Jr. died March 5, 2015 in Columbus OH. He was 50 years old.

Born September 1, 1964 in Kingston, he was the son of Donald Fogarty, Sr and the late Sandra Smith Fogarty. He worked for Vertis for many years.

In addition to his father, survivors include three children, Kathleen Morse and her husband Russell of Saugerties, Leah Fogarty of Lake Katrine, and Donald P. Fogarty III and his fiancé Elizabeth Rodschat of Lake Katrine; his granddaughter Jocelyn Aria Fogarty; his former wife Helen "Missy" Fogarty of Lake Katrine; two sisters, Deborah Fogarty and Dawn Maloney both of Mt. Marion; a niece Tiffany Fogarty; two nephews Matthew Fogarty and Cammeron Maloney; his longtime girlfriend Crystal Newkirk; and by his beloved dogs Ozzy and Ziva and the late Diamond. He was also pre-deceased by his father-in-law, Robert Crowley.

Donald enjoyed his family and the time he spent with them. He was an avid outdoorsman particularly his bow hunting and fishing.

A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. John the Evangelist Parish Center in Centerville, where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow immediately in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Friends may call Thursday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family recommends donations in Donald's memory be made to the American Heart Association.
