OBITUARY Saugerties – Dominick J Ferraro died Monday, September 22, 2014 at home following a long illness. He was 80 years old. Born May 1, 1934 in Glasco, he was the son of Joseph and Rose Petramale Ferraro. He married the former Joan Wipper on May 2, 1964. During the Korean War he served in the US Air Force. He owned and operated a Thomas' and Pepperidge Farm Route for many years. An avid Bowler, golfer, and musician, he was a member of local area bands for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Christine Yates and Julie Setera and her husband Paul; his granddaughter Courtney Thomas and her husband Jeff; his step grandson Paul Setera; two brothers, Joseph Ferraro and his wife Barbara and Dennis Ferraro and his wife Elaine; his brother-in-law Richard Wells; and several nices and nephews. He was pre-deceased by three siblings, Salvatore Ferraro, Jane Brandt and Thelma Wells. A Funeral procession will form 9:15 AM, Thursday September 25, 2014 at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street Chapel, Saugerties, NY and then proceed to St. Joseph's RC Church in Glasco where a 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends may call Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., Main Street, Saugerties.
