Mount Marion – Diane Lynn Schmidt-Saban of Mt. Marion, passed away on January 20th, 2019 at home. Diane was born April 22nd, 1958. She was the daughter of Walter and Jean (Peacock) Schmidt. Diane grew up in Saugerties and graduated from SHS in 1976. Diane married Michael Saban on December 6th, 1997. Early in her career Diane was a legal secretary. For the past 32 years, along with Mike, Diane was instrumental in the success of Mike Saban Sales, until Mike's passing this past April.

Diane was a wonderful kind and caring, daughter, sister and wife, she will be greatly missed. Dianes loving family includes her mother, Jean, of Oneonta, her sisters, Jeanine of Leeds, and Mary (Bill Myers) of Morris, N.Y. both of whom cared for or her during her illness, her cat Hobie, and many friends who will miss her smile.

The family will receive friends at Buono Funeral Service, Inc in Saugerties on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Diane's memory be made to The ALS Association Upstate New York Chapter, 135 Old Cove Road, Suite 213, Liverpool, NY 13090.
