DANIEL MICHAEL MARAZITA
born – March 5, 1948
died – November 24, 2021

Dan was a kind and loving person. Dan was a wonderful husband to his wife Jan.

Dan had a deep love of the Adirondacks which he shared with his wife, canoeing most of the lakes and ponds found in the deep mountains. Dan made four round trips across America, visiting most of the National Parks

Dan was an excellent photographer and, after retirement, became a nature photographer, channeling his talent on capturing flowers, trees, insects (his favorite being dragon flies). But if it crawled, flew or hopped, Dan got its picture.

Dan was an avid baker. He loved baking all sorts of breads, especially making bagels and pizza.

Dan worked for IBM for 30 years, rising up the ranks to become one of IBM's strategic planners. Through his work, he traveled the world, spending time in England, Germany, France and Japan.

Dan was a genius at redesigning Ford Mustang motors to run more efficiently and faster… He was a true "car guy". He could analyze and fix any car problems.

Dan had a green thumb when it came to raising vegetables, orchids, and Christmas cacti.

When the grandkids arrived, Dan took up Christmas cookie decorating. Jan baked them, then he took over. They were so perfect you hated to eat them.

Dan was a great human being whol loved his country, hiking, photograo, canoeing… and most of all his wife, Jan and grandchildren Allison and Max' as well as Jan's children Michael Hoffman and Sue Hoffman.
