Kingston, NY – Christine "Rena" Tarasco died tragically on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, after succumbing to injuries from a traffic accident. She was 65 years old.

Born August 26, 1957 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Cecilio Tarasco and late Elizabeth Andreuzzi Tarasco. A bright light of joy and love, she was always quick to greet you with a big smile and a hello.

A career waitress, she retired from the Olympic Diner in 2020. She was dedicated to her family and cherished spending time with them, the weekly family game day was a can't miss. Riding her bike and spending time at the YMCA for swimming and workout classes were among her favorite pastimes. Christine could often be found relaxing on her Chaise Lounge, reading or watching movies and TV shows with a glass of wine in hand and her two furbabies, Stormy and Cloudy, close by.

Survivors include her life partner Wayne Zitt of Kingston; her two sons, Eric McCall and Michael Donnarumma of New Jersey; her two sisters, Laura Tarasco of Shandaken and Vicki Van Loan (Danny) of Kingston; her two brothers Christopher "C.J." Tarasco of Shandaken, NY and Michael Tarasco (Vanessa) of Brooklyn, NY; her three Grandchildren; Tyler and Joshua McCall and Milani Donnarumma; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph Camperlino, and Gigi, Giacomo and Lyla Tarasco.
